We have the opportunity to show boats each week, and we know the details count. I thought I'd share areas that potential buyers notice, and can play a significant role in the decision to purchase:
1. Detail the exterior.
2. Remove personal gear that is not part of the sale (such as clothing items).
3. Remove equipment or electronics that are not part of the sale of the boat.
4. Clean the interior. Areas include lockers, bilges, head and galley.
5. Replace worn out cushions, carpets or window treatments.
6. Compile maintenance records, and have any recent survey available.
7. Collect operation manuals or transferable warranties.
